This line carries all traditions and cultures of this land.
Here are proposed wines made according to ancient "ricasoliana" formula, spokesman of the first D.O.C.G. Regualation, which provides white grapes (50-10%) typical of the Chianti area, such as Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia Chianti.
In rewriting of the 2006, no longer authorizes the use of white grapes, so all products will continue to bring these features will be passed to the classification of IGT SuperTuscan red.

- I.G.T. ROSSO TOSCANO "LA PEGHERA DI BACCIO", wine made from selected vineyard planted in 1965; today they are devoted only to the limited production of this historic wine, taking in all the history and love for the land; it is classified as IGT Supertuscan, but it is aged as the Chianti Classico, the half in cemented tanks and half in French oak barrels of 27hl.
Grapes: 85% Sangiovese; 10% Canaiolo and 5% Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia del Chianti.
Colour: ruby red garnet.
Flavour: characteristic, intense with a bouquet and distinct in its persistence, with floral notes of violets and violet irises.
Taste: soft, persistent and balanced like a violin sound in the rolling hills of Chianti Classico.
Life: 10-12 years.
Matchs: pasta, red and white meats, roasted or grilled, cheese and cold cuts.
Alcool: 13% by Vol.

- CHIANTI CLASSICO D.O.C.G. "LA PEGHERA DI BACCIO" RISERVA, the latest available vintage of this historic wine, made before the change of the D.O.C.G. Regulation (2006). This Chianti Classico Reserve is aged for two more years in oak barrels.

Colour: ruby red garnet with orange reflets.
Flavour: intensely winy with spice notes.
Taste: dry, fruity and slightly tannic, which is refined over time to smooth and velvety..
Life: 12-15 years.
Matchs: high quality meat also grille and game.
Alcool: 13% by Vol.
